Call for Submissions for the SocialMoms “Farm Rich – Keeping Your Family Happy” Blogging Program Terms and Conditions
SocialMoms seeks submissions of blog content for the “Farm Rich – Keeping Your Family Happy” blogging program. SocialMoms will review all submissions and will select the first one hundred (100) qualifying submissions to receive the following compensation: a $25 Target gift card. To participate in the “Farm Rich – Keeping Your Family Happy” program, visit http://farmrichsnacks.SocialMoms.com/about, blog about “How do you Keep Your Family Happy” on your own blog, and follow the directions provided below.
In order to submit your blog for participation in the “Farm Rich – Keeping Your Family Happy” program you must: A.) provide a disclosure statement in your blog post, as required by the Federal Trade Commission’s regulations for blogs, B.) include at least one link back to the SocialMoms discussion page from your blog, C.) install this widget (http://www.widgetbox.com/widget/xxxx) to the sidebar of your blog template, D.) log on to your Twitter account, www.twitter.com, and tweet a link to your blog posting and include the hashtag #FarmRichSnacks. Then return to the “Farm Rich – Keeping Your Family Happy” discussion page on SocialMoms.com to leave an active link to your qualifying blog entry and a direct link to your Twitter tweet.
Normal Internet access and usage charges imposed by your on-line service will apply. Completed submissions must be posted in accordance with these directions between March 30, 2011 and 11:59pm on April 27, 2011. Incomplete submissions will not be considered. Neither Farm Rich nor SocialMoms (collectively the “Sponsor”) will acknowledge or verify receipt of submissions. The first 100 qualified bloggers will be notified on or about May 4, 2011.
SocialMoms will review all qualifying blog submissions and will select no more than one hundred to receive the compensation described above. Selection shall be at the sole discretion of the SocialMoms. All submissions, including qualifying submissions, can be rejected by the Sponsor at its sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to reject all submissions. All decisions of the Sponsor are final and not subject to reconsideration or review. Sponsor will contact parties who submitted selected submissions, but will not contact those whose submissions were not selected. No compensation will be provided to parties who submitted material that is not selected by the Sponsor. Limit one submission per household.
All submissions must consist of appropriate content. Submissions containing inappropriate content shall be deemed unqualified for participation in “Farm Rich – Keeping Your Family Happy.” Use of profane or obscene content or a profane or obscene username is prohibited. Submission of false or misleading content, defamatory content, or inaccurate information by a participant will be grounds for rejection. Sponsor retains sole discretion to determine whether submission content is profane, obscene, defamatory, false, misleading or otherwise inappropriate. SocialMoms reserves the right to remove all inappropriate content posted on its site and to take down all links to inappropriate content consistent with the Terms of Service of the SocialMoms web site.
All submitted blogs must comply in full with all relevant regulations imposed by the Federal Trade Commission and other regulatory agencies.
All participants warrant and represent that the content of their submissions does not in any way infringe upon, violate, interfere with, or in any way undermine the rights of any third party. Such third party rights include, but are not limited to, intellectual property rights, rights of privacy, or rights of name and likeness. Additionally, all participants warrant and represent that the content of their submissions is not illegal, and that the content does not advocate, recommend, or otherwise suggest that readers engage in any form of illegal conduct. All participants also warrant and represent that the content of their submissions does not constitute any form of conflict-of-interest or other deceptive trade practice. All participants further represent and warrant that the content of their submissions does not constitute the unauthorized practice of medicine.
In consideration of the compensation provided to the participants who submit selected submissions, as described above, all submissions selected by the Sponsor shall be the sole and exclusive property of the Sponsor. All participants agree that all submissions selected by the Sponsor are “works made for hire” and shall be the sole and exclusive property of the Sponsor and that any and all copyrights associated with the submissions shall belong to the Sponsor. To the extent such works are not deemed to be “works made for hire,” the participant hereby assigns all proprietary rights, including copyright, in those submissions to the Sponsor, without any additional compensation beyond that described above. The Sponsor grants to the participants who provide selected submissions a perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive license for the continued use of their submitted material in their own personal blogs.
The Sponsor will make reasonable efforts to provide attribution to the parties who submit selected submissions when their material is used publicly, to the extent that such attribution is appropriate for the context in which the material is used and is consistent with customary trade, industry, and media practices.
In order to receive their compensation, parties who submit material selected by the Sponsor must comply with all instructions and information requests they receive from the Sponsor. Such instructions and information requests may include, but are not limited to, requests for contact information and for information necessary for tax filing purposes. Failure to comply with all such instructions and requests for information may result in rejection of the submitted material.
These terms associated with participation in “Farm Rich – Keeping Your Family Happy” are subject to modification by the Sponsor at any time.
